[Ridley X-Fire]
Summer is coming to the end and the smell of cross is in the air. Cyclocross season is almost upon us, and we just built up this very nice 2010 Ridley X-Fire frame. The X-Fire is one of Ridley's two carbon cyclocross frames. The frame was built with SRAM's Force group which has been updated for 2010 as well. Wheels are hand built using DT Swiss 240s hubs laced to DT Swiss RR1.2 rims. Tires are Challenge Grifo XS clinchers. Stem is a Thomson X4 with Thomson also supplying the Masterpiece seat post. Saddle is a Fizik Arione. Here is an e-mail I received from our customer after getting in a few rides on his bike, "This bike is really something...the top tube is 3 inches shorter than the Ottrott (I lined them up at home) and yet the overall fit is dialed in - making me more efficient and powerful than I've ever experienced. So much so that after taking it for a full hour in Umstead I couldn't resist going hard on the road afterward. The bike itself is very light, instantly responsive but totally stable - and I'm certain it wishes its rider knew what the heck he was doing around gravel corners! So the short version is that I haven't fully explored this baby's potential because, and am excited that it may take a thousand miles or so on dirt before I've pushed it as hard as it can go. And you know what Frank? I can hardly wait! Thanks again for a terrific build, a fantastic bike, and a phenomenal fit."

[Salsa Casseroll Single]
We built up this Salsa Casseroll single for a customer. He wanted a singlespeed road bike to ride maintain his fitness when he cannot hit the trails on his Pivot mountain bike. The Casseroll is stock except for the upgrade to a gold Chris King NoThreadSet. The headset looked so good on the bike that pictures had to be posted. Thanks for looking.

[Moots Vamoots]
We just finished building this Vamoots for a customer. The frame is a stock 56cm., and Moots supplied the Cinch seatpost and Open Road stem. Fork is the EDGE Composites 1.0 model. Component group is the Campy Super Record. Handlebar is a Deda Zero100 in white with the saddle being a white Fizik Aliante Gamma. Wheels are hand built EDGE Composites 1.38 rims laced to DT Swiss 240s hubs with DT Swiss Aerolite spokes. Total weight as pictured was 15.5lbs. Our customer sent us this quick impression after a few short rides, 'I love the bike Frank, it rides great, very taut and not dead like the carbon frame. Campy stuff is great too, all the shifts really snap and the lever effort is perfect. the bike looks great and rides great.'
